Job Description

School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)


Various School Districts in Georgia


Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and support school districts across Georgia. As a schoolbased SLP you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating students with speech language voice and fluency disorders. You will provide effective and individualized therapy to help students achieve their communication goals and succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech language voice and fluency disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and in collaboration with the students educational team and family.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students utilizing evidencebased practices.
  • Collaborate with teachers special education staff and other related service providers to integrate therapy goals into students educational programs and classroom activities.
  • Monitor students progress and adjust treatment plans as needed maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
  • Educate and support students families and school staff regarding strategies for improving communication skills and promoting academic success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings including IEP meetings to develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Stay current with best practices in speechlanguage pathology through ongoing professional development and training.


Requirements

Master s degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid Georgia state license or eligibility for licensure as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in SpeechLanguage Pathology (CCCSLP) from ASHA preferred.
Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of speech and language assessment tools and intervention strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
