Job Description




HandsOn Executive Housekeeper Position New York

Our client is seeking a fulltime experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee two properties: a residence in Manhattan and an upstate property approximately 1.52 hours north. This position requires someone who can split their time between the city and upstate with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and toplevel organization. Candidates who have their own reliable transportation are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of both properties using nontoxic cleaning products care for antiques hardwood floors and other delicate surfaces develop and implement cleaning systems and strategies and ensure high standards of hygiene and tidiness at all times.

  • HandsOn Duties: Perform all housekeeping tasks personally without assistance establish a routine and manage time efficiently between both properties.

  • Coordination: Communicate effectively with the family and any additional staff as needed.

  • Personal Support: Provide personal support to the family and their guests when in residence coordinate with vendors and run errands as needed.

  • Specialty Experience: Must have experience with highend furnishings fine art and collectibles. Should fully understand how to care for all items in the home properly.

  • Vendor Coordination

Schedule:

  • Weekly Routine: Typically Monday to Friday 23 days in the city and 23 days upstate with flexibility to accommodate changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a HandsOn Executive Housekeeper experience with cleaning and maintaining highend properties.

  • Skills: Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills ability to develop and implement effective nontoxic cleaning systems trustworthy and reliable comfortable working independently.

  • Transportation: Candidates with a reliable vehicle preferred; possibility for train travel for highlyqualified candidates without a vehicle.

  • Mature responsible dedicated to a high standard of service comfortable in a handson solo role interested in a longterm position with no travel beyond the specified locations.

Personal Qualities & Character Sketch:

  • Warm polished intuitive calm respectful and collaborative by nature.

  • Discreet and confidential low social media presence.

  • A superb attitude and work ethic as well as exceptional time management and organizational skills.

  • Fluency in English

  • Honest trustworthy reliable wellpresented energetic positive and punctual.

  • Efficient serviceoriented and low ego.

  • Works well under pressure is not easily frazzled and appreciates receiving constructive feedback.

Compensation:

  • Salary: Starting at $45/hour commensurate with experience.

  • Benefits: Full benefits package including health dental vision 5 sick days and 10 vacation days.
