Job Description

On behalf of construction firm with international growth plans we are looking to hire a Finance Director.


The Finance Director will occupy a critical role within the business devising strategy forecasting and planning as well as leading others within the vision of the business.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial activities of the business.
  • As a key member of the Management Team provide the Managing Director with strategic financial management advice.
  • Undertake financial planning and direct the financial operations of the business from highlevel to project planning levels.
  • Monitor cash flow and raise investment as needed.
  • Evaluate develop and improve department controls systems and procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency and provide cost savings.


Requirements

  • Fully Qualified Accountant with 10 years experience ideally within the construction / engineering / technical business sectors in multinational business context.
  • Strong people management skills with a focus on the development of the team building succession and growth potential in the team.
  • Experience of overseeing preparation of budgets and managing active forecasting of income and expenditure
  • Experience of compliance for organisations across different EU countries is desirable.
  • Debt/ equity raising experience preferred.
