Job Description
On behalf of construction firm with international growth plans we are looking to hire a Finance Director.
The Finance Director will occupy a critical role within the business devising strategy forecasting and planning as well as leading others within the vision of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial activities of the business.
- As a key member of the Management Team provide the Managing Director with strategic financial management advice.
- Undertake financial planning and direct the financial operations of the business from highlevel to project planning levels.
- Monitor cash flow and raise investment as needed.
- Evaluate develop and improve department controls systems and procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency and provide cost savings.
Requirements
- Fully Qualified Accountant with 10 years experience ideally within the construction / engineering / technical business sectors in multinational business context.
- Strong people management skills with a focus on the development of the team building succession and growth potential in the team.
- Experience of overseeing preparation of budgets and managing active forecasting of income and expenditure
- Experience of compliance for organisations across different EU countries is desirable.
- Debt/ equity raising experience preferred.
