Tasks

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Hindi to Spanish Linguist to accurately translate and localize content across various formats ensuring linguistic and cultural appropriateness. The ideal candidate will possess excellent proficiency in both Hindi and Spanish with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of cultural nuances.

Translate scripts dialogues song lyrics and other written content from Hindi to Spanish for childrens animated series and films.
To review and modify machine translation keeping the video sentence length intact.
Adapt voiceover scripts for dubbing or subtitling ensuring that lipsync matches the original animation and that dialogue is appropriate for the target audience.
Adapt content to ensure cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy while maintaining the original intent and tone.
Effectively coordinate with the team of editors for sentence length related issues.
Modify the translated text according to the machine voice recording length and shall supporting the editors in order to achieve desired length of the audio output.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Proficiency in English Hindi and Spanish is essential.
Ability to accurately translate written and spoken content between Hindi and Spanish.
Familiarity with the cultural nuances of both source languages (Hindi) and the target language (Spanish).
Knowledge of regional variations and colloquialisms.
Proficiency in translation tools and software.
Familiarity with word processing software for creating and editing documents.
Work closely with other team members editors and subject matter experts to ensure accurate translations.
Be open to feedback and continuous improvement.
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure highquality translations.
Regularly review and update translation glossaries and style guides.

Requirements

Qualification: Any other bachelors degree with language proficiency certification

Skill Set:

B1 Level (Spanish) and above
Basic understanding of Hindi
