Our client an innovative and growing AV Solutions Provider has an immediate opening for a Project Engineer to expand their Project Engineering team with a responsible customerfocused resultsdriven individual.

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer will need excellent communication and customer service skills combined with a technically sound understanding of some of the following: Cisco Poly Crestron AMX Extron Biamp and other AV/VTC/UCC products.

This role is responsible for supporting projects from receipt of order through client acceptance.

Responsibilities include reviewing projects to ensure the proposed solution meets the technical requirements to deliver on design intent releasing equipment for order working alongside CAD resources to create and maintain infrastructure and installation signal flow drawings supporting project change orders and responding to installation and configuration questions as they arise. This is a hybrid role requiring inperson reporting 3 days a week to the Beaverton OR office.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine the detailed material list and account for all job costs associated with assigned projects.
• Create or coordinate with CAD resources to create submittal and installation documentation required for a given project.
• Support troubleshooting of issues in the field at the request of assistance from a Lead Installer.
• Provide a detailed material list and account for all job costs associated with projects assigned.
• Adjust communications to fit the audience and message sharing information freely and openly with other stakeholder groups.
• Partner with clients operations team to deliver the scope and intent of the proposed solution for implementation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with Division 27 Specifications
• Superb problemsolving skills
• High aptitude for learning
• Highly adaptable to change
• Strong attention to detail
• Intermediate computer skills in MS Office
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Design Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• CTS or ability to achieve within 6 months of employment
• Strong aptitude and desire to learn AV design and systems engineering
• Strong work ethic drive and aptitude may be considered in lieu of a degree for the right candidate
• Preferred candidates will be CTSI or CTSD certified
