Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Editor to join our team at our online and print magazine. As the Editor you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and publication of engaging and highquality content for both our online and print platforms. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent writing and editing skills as well as a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the publishing industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the editorial process for both online and print magazine
- Commission edit and proofread articles from freelance writers and inhouse staff
- Develop and maintain editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of content
- Collaborate with design team to create visually appealing layouts for print magazine
- Monitor industry trends and stay uptodate with current affairs to inform content creation
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Journalism Communications or related field
- Proven experience as an Editor in a digital or print publication
- Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills
- Strong understanding of AP Style and grammar rules
- Proficient in content management systems and publishing software
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fastpaced environment
