Job Description
This is a remote position.
Paradigm is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to support our client a global leader in the legal industry. This position entails developing web applications using ASP.NET MVC TypeScript with a modern JS framework Web Api and SQL Server for highvolume mission critical use. The role will primarily focus on handson coding of the project using the technologies listed below.
Type: 1 year contract
Location: Fully remote Must be located within 50 miles of either New York NY or Kansas City KS

As a Senior Software Engineer you will:
- Use Agile Scrum SDLC methodologies in the full life cycle software development process including requirements analysis software design prototyping programming debugging and testing of system software production applications.
- Participate in technical design and implementation.
- Proactively raise issues if specification will lead to quality system performance or architectural issues in product.
- Collaborate with fellow developers in areas of expertise as well as members of business unit.
- Demonstrate selfdirected and proactive approach to solving problems.
- Develop debug and deliver web applications.
- Demonstrate selfdirected and proactive approach to solving problems.
- Proactively mentor fellow developers in areas of expertise.
- Act as a resource for other software engineers and a liaison between department manager and other analysts as well as the business team.
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes:
- 5 years of experience with HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- 5 years of experience developing software in C# /.NET
- 3 years of experience with React.js Angular or Vue.js
- 3 years of experience developing web applications using ASP.NET and/or ASP.NET Web Api with experience using MVC a plus.
- 3 years of experience developing web applications using TypeScript along with a modern JS framework
- Competence in serverside programming languages and frameworks such as Node.js Python with Django or Flask Ruby on Rails or Java with Spring Framework.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and experience in designing and optimizing database schemas.
- ProblemSolving and Debugging Skills: includes familiarity with debugging tools version control systems like Git and an understanding of software architecture principles.
- Emphasis on UI development
- Proven ability to organize workload and priorities and complete tasks on time & to work effectively in a team environment.
- Solid understanding of SQL Server and database design with Entity Framework experience a plus.
- Experience with load balancing technologies a plus
