Teamworx is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Takeaway Manager to oversee our takeaway operations for their award winning store in South Dublin City. The successful candidate will manage a team of 18 staff ensuring high standards of customer service and efficient timely preparation and delivery of orders. This role requires strong leadership skills excellent organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Lead manage and motivate a team of including cooks packers and delivery drivers.
- Schedule shifts manage attendance and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet demand.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates expectations and receive feedback.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee the daytoday takeaway operations ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Monitor order processing times to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
- Maintain high standards of food quality presentation and hygiene in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service:
- Handle customer inquiries complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Inventory and Supplies:
- Monitor inventory levels of takeaway supplies and place orders as needed.
- Ensure that all takeaway packaging and materials meet the restaurants standards.
- Financial Management:
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the takeaway operations.
- Monitor expenses and implement costsaving measures where possible.
- Delivery Coordination:
- Coordinate and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
- Ensure all delivery drivers have valid licenses and are adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all staff are trained in and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the food service industry preferably in takeaway or delivery operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Thai cuisine is a plus.
- Proficiency in inventory management and basic financial principles.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food service industry.
Working Hours:
- Fulltime position; flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
