You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs a Workday solution architect with primary focus on the Absence Management module you will be responsible for identifying designing implementing and maintaining absence management solutions within Workday and those relevant 3rd party absence management support systems that interface with Workday. The candidate must have a proven track record of implementing and administering Workday with expert level knowledge of the absence management module and HCM processing. The role will require the candidate to partner with stakeholders within our total rewards team understand business needs define requirements in support of the employees managers and business partner experience and to architect configure support and maintain solutions to achieve desired business objectives.
What will you do
Own the Workday absence management module to include best practices for the system architecture from concept through requirements design build test deploy and maintain
Provide subject matter expertise on Workday absence management best practices and partner with stakeholders to understand pain points prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging Workday functionality
Identify business critical Workday new features released (R1 & R2 releases) and demo to our stakeholders
Understand the full P&C technology landscape especially how thirdparty point solutions are utilized and integrated within Workday
Develop partnerships with our total rewards COE stakeholders and provide guidance on how to best leverage and utilize Workday for absence management
Optimize standardize and automate the Workday absence management process across a global environment
Assess current setup configuration systems utilization and identify and recommend improvements
Develop training to help end users with adoption and usage of Workday
Recommend and configure enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the Workday absence management module and provide end to end solution and design details during Architect Sessions
Leverage your masterylevel knowledge of Workday absence management to lead the design configuration integration data conversion security testing reporting post production support and change management activities
Collaborate closely with other Workday solution architects to leverage knowledge other solutions and best practice to ensure a holistic bestpractice approach
Review the Workday new product releases identify features and functionality to adopt and coordinate the planning and execution and testing of those delivered features
Primary focus is Workday absence management with secondary focus to support other system needs
Plan lead and facilitate art of the possible design and solution architecture workshops
Accurately estimate effort and resources required to complete projects as related to areas of expertise
Mentor and guide more junior colleagues for their roles in configuration and testing
Provide excellent customer service in response to P&C inquiries and resolve inquiries accurately and timely
Utilize a case tool for capturing all inquiries requests and customer information
What Were Looking For
Bachelor s Degree in IT Business or related field
Workday Pro certified with mastery level experience in Workday Absence management preferred
Experience and knowledge of other Workday modules preferred such as HCM
Excellent verbal and written communication escalation and conflict resolution skills
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Experience developing and delivering training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy and integrity
A passion for excellent customer service adaptable & flexible
Ability to comply with handling sensitive and confidential employee data
Works under general direction; must be able to work independently
