You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailJob Purpose Produce specialist procurement expert knowledge to achieve procurement activities, resolve critical/complex issues, identify and implement long term business improvements. Key Job Accountabilities - I • Advise and formulate recommendations for complex purchasing and sensitive issues to ensure the most appropriate action is taken. • Produce professional procurement expertise to achieve complex and critical purchasing activities such as shutdowns, plant emergencies and ensure quality, cost and time targets. • Recommend effective procurement strategies and review technical specification for major and critical purchases regarding specific commodities such as mechanical, electrical, instrument, chemicals, etc. • Recommend and implement internal or cross-functional procedures and processes improvements that support the achievement of business and professional objectives such as efficiency and cost saving. Key Job Accountabilities - II • Analyse and evaluate supplier’s performances, meet with their key focal points, and recommend enhancement opportunities. • Establish ethical relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the most cost effective solutions. • Develop strategies to negotiate prices, terms & conditions, and delivery, as applicable, to satisfy Company business requirements and targeted savings. • Establish commercial commitments between Company and suppliers to procure required materials up to a value according to the Table of Financial Authority (TOFA
