Job Description

Job Description:
  • Recording and reconciling financial transactions including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Managing invoices receipts and expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure correct GL coding for all invoices
  • Conducting bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow.
  • Maintaining accurate records of fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Assisting with monthend and yearend closing procedures.
  • Providing support during audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assisting creation of payroll for employees.

Accounts Payable
  1. Process purchase invoices
  2. Obtain approval from all relevant managers on purchase invoices
  3. Ensure correct GL coding for all invoices
  4. Create new suppliers in the systems with complete and correct details
  5. Keep supplier list updated in all system
  6. Assist in managing direct debit standing orders
  7. Assist in managing Preferred Supplier List
  8. Categorise suppliers
  9. Reconcile supplier statements
  10. Adhoc reporting

Accounts Receivable
  1. Send customer statements
  2. Credit management Update alerts on customer status in MYOB & WL
  3. Assist in debt collection
  4. Complete documentation for trade reference requests
  5. Adhoc reporting

Bank Reconciliation
  1. NAB Saving and Operating Accounts
  2. NAB Visa Cards and Amex

Requirements

Requirements/Skills Needed:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  • At least 23 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in MYOB and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.

Additional Job Details:

Setup and Location: Officebased (Ortigas Alabang Pampanga or Cebu)
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEST) 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PH Time)
Employment Type: Fulltime

All interviews and other hiring requirements are done virtually or through video calls or emails.
