Job Description

Head of Commercial is task to head the operations of marketing and sales in the group. Being a management role an experienced and visionary Head of Commercial shall carry the senior leadership role within the group specifically on adding value to the growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and managing marketing efforts as well as keeping abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to the top management for marketing sales business development and financial objectives within the FMCG industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute overarching commercial strategies aligned with organizational objectives ensuring sustainable growth and market expansion.
  • Provide strategic direction to the sales team setting ambitious targets and driving sales performance across diverse channels and regions.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies leveraging market insights to drive brand positioning and consumer engagement.
  • Lead initiatives for market penetration exploring new business opportunities partnerships and innovative market entry strategies.
  • Drive financial analysis forecasts and budgeting for commercial activities ensuring alignment with overall financial goals and objectives.
  • Foster collaboration across departments ensuring synergy between sales marketing finance and operations to achieve common commercial goals.
  • To conduct indepth market research analyzing consumer trends competitors strategies and merging market opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop and implement effective product strategies including pricing packaging and innovation to meet market demands.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key clients ensuring exceptional service delivery and customers satisfaction.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to the commercial team fostering a culture of excellence innovation and continuous development.
  • Implement KPIs and metrics for performance evaluation regularly analyzing and interpreting data to drive informed decisionmaking.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations maintaining ethical standards in all commercial activities.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders including partners investors and regulatory bodies fostering productive relationships.
  • Drive a culture of innovation and adaptability staying abreast of industry advancements and implementing progressive strategies.
  • Oversee brand management initiatives ensuring brand consistency and safeguarding and the company s reputation
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of commercial performance initiating corrective measures and strategic pivots as required.
  • Drive operational efficiency and costeffective strategies within commercial operations optimizing resources for maximal ROI.
  • Lead negotiations with key partners suppliers and stakeholders securing mutually beneficial partnerships and agreements.
  • Develop and execute strategies for international market expansion evaluating market potential and opportunities for growth.
  • Act as a thought leader representing the organization at industry events conferences and forums to bolster the companys reputation and influence.
  • Carry out duties in complying with Company s Food Safety System Company s Environment Guidelines Company s Health and Safety Guidelines Company s Policy and Procedures etc. by maintaining evaluating and continuous improvement.
  • Perform task and work requirements as and when required and assigned.
AUTHORITIES
  • To conduct customer satisfaction or feedback survey
  • To stop any unauthorized use of registered trademark and/or product labeling
  • Authorized spokesperson shall be appointed to deal with public media


Requirements

Education
  • Master s degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field is preferred
Workplace
  • Ipoh HQ
Working Experience
  • More than 5 years of extensive leadership experience in commercial roles within the MFCG Industry
Language Proficiency
  • Bahasa Malaysia English

  • Yes
