Your Mission

Your mission is to enhance learning through the creation of highquality engaging and accessible instructional content across a wide range of subjects supporting internal and external facing learning paths. As an Instructional Designer you will play a pivotal role in developing educational experiences that cater to diverse learning needs. With a broad focus on instructional design you will also have the opportunity to delve into cuttingedge AI topics crafting specialized learning materials that demystify artificial intelligence and its application through Mercells solutions. As well as be a key stakeholder in identifying and supporting opportunities to enhance Mercell process with AI functionality.By combining creativity collaboration and a commitment to excellence we aim to empower learners and customers to acquire the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in their journey with Mercell.

As an Instructional DesignerAI specialistat Mercell you will be part of the Digital Learning and Engagement team within the Customer Office and report to the Lead of Digital Learning and Engagement. We are a team of passionate learning and engagement professionals responsible for ensuring that our customers receive efficient and effective support growing customer experience and fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty while supporting broader institutional learning and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development:Design and develop instructional materials as well as dive intoAIfocused learning. Create content that simplifies complex AI concepts for diverse audiences.
• Content Creation:Develop engaging multimedia content (videos simulations interactive modules) to enhance learning experiences. Utilize elearning authoring tools and platforms to create digital learning content that leverages instructional design best practices.
• Project Management:Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery and highquality outputs. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment and integration of AI content.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Instructional Design Educational Technology Computer Science or a related field. Or the equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts tools and applications.
• Proficiency in elearning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline Adobe Captivate Genially) and learning management systems (LMS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• C2 level English proficiency
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in instructional design or AIrelated fields.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools to assess learning effectiveness.
• Experience with augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies in instructional design.
• B2 level or higher proficiency in additional languages such as Swedish Danish Finnish Dutch and/or Norwegian.
