Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary :The warehouse supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of the warehouse ensuring efficient workflow timely delivery of goods and adherence to safety protocols. This role involves managing a team of warehouse staff organizing inventory coordinating shipments and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff including receiving picking packing and shipping.

2. Train mentor and evaluate warehouse personnel to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.

3. Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks ensuring efficient use of space and safe handling of goods.

4. Implement and enforce safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

5. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment including proper storage of goods and equipment.

6. Utilize systems and other software tools to track inventory movement and generate reports.

7. Collaborate with other departments such as logistics transportation and customer service to fulfill orders and resolve issues.

8. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

1. Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures inventory management and logistics operations.

2. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.

3. Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office applications.

4. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations.

5. Education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management or industrial engineering.
