Job Summary

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Group Finance & Consulting Department (GF&CD) which is part of the Group Finance & Development Support (GF&DS) Administrative Area. GF&CD is a part of the Finance Business Line in This Company and ultimately reports to the Finance Executive VP & CFO. GF&CD is responsible for providing support to senior management and various business lines relating to various Affiliate matters. This support is provided through advisory to This Companys senior management on upcoming Affiliate Board and other committees meetings on matters including statutory and management reporting financial analysis budgeting & planning Mergers & Acquisition and internal controls.

Potential assignments can be diverse as Saudi Arabia moves forward to meet the countrys growing demand for energy and as the Company continues to diversify and expand its global footprint.

Finance representatives are periodically selected from our pool of analysts and placed in CFO/Controllership positions with one of the Companys business lines affiliates global operations or megaprojects.

Applicants will be expected to arrive with the requisite accounting financial and managerial skills to perform the required duties. Upon arrival at This Company the focus for the applicant will be on acclimating to the Companys governance policies and culture.

The applicant will possess significant relevant experience within one or more industries which will allow the applicant to be considered a subject matter expert for that industry. The successful candidate will have the ability to establish personal credibility with various internal clients and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and engagement skills. The applicant must be a team player be able to plan and coordinate their own workload and meet deadlines. The applicant will be able to add value by delivering work of the highest quality and be able to proactively overcome issues to ensure delivery.

The applicant should have demonstrated financial and accounting skills that include the ability to evaluate both industry and individual company information and comprehend advanced accounting topics (i.e. IFRS etc.) and taxation. The applicant must be able to work with minimal supervision and possess good project management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Review board materials for Affiliates and provide commentary and analysis for board members.
• Present to senior management offering advice on upcoming board meetings and other projects.
• Support Group Finance & Corporate Development (GF&CD) as the primary resource for all Group Finance matters.
• Collaborate with affiliates to ensure the establishment and maintenance of strong finance functions and processes.
• Mentor and coach team members in specialized areas.
• Coordinate internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to assist with current affiliate matters and issues.
• Brief internal management on affiliate operational matters new projects and initiatives.
• Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on affiliates and their upcoming projects.
• Prepare accounting entries for affiliate investments where applicable.
• Provide ad hoc support as needed.

Requirements:

• This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Hold a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance preferably accompanied by advanced professional certifications like CPA CA or CFA. Possession of an MBA or postgraduate degree is desirable.
• Accumulate a minimum of 1015 years of relevant experience encompassing financial reporting and accounting research (IFRS) international taxation financial analysis financial modeling business development mergers & acquisitions corporate governance internal controls financing & cash management and consulting.
• Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
• Industry experience in oil & gas chemicals or power generation is preferred.
• Proficiency in oral and written English is essential.
