Painter / Ken Fix It
This position is responsible for all painting and decoration works including varnishing and other maintnenace functions.
- Able to clean and touch up painted surfaces as well as carry out minor wallpaper repairs
- Able to patch and paint interior and exterior surfaces, caulk and grout
- Able to repair and refinish woodwork
- Plan and schedule preventive maintenance of painting and decoration works in the waterpark
- Maintain brushes and rollers in good condition
- Able to perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Able to provide technical direction and on-the-job training
- Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance work performed while on duty, paper and electronic
- Keep a correct inventory and write purchase order requests for items needed
- Participate in the on-call program and respond both by phone and in person as appropriate
- Report all potential hazards, safety concerns and accidents immediately
- Ensure effective communication and good relations between the engineering department and other departments in the water park
Qualifications
- Secondary / High school education
- Qualification in Trades Technician level, variety of engineering/maintenance
- Previous experience in the related field is highly preferred
- Basic computer skills – ability to use BMS
- Good proficiency in the English language
