Job Description
- Measure client for size, using tape measure and records measurements
- Fit and study garments on clients to determine required alterations
- Prepare alterations both by needle and thread or sewing machine
- Liaise with clients to draw and alter individual pattern to fit client's measurements and garment style
- Approach and perform in proper manner and posture to the client as per the DG procedures
- Respecting the original style of the item, proceed the proper measurement for alterations requested by the client
- Grasp all the alteration request by clients, and complete all the task in the scheduled period
- Make sure to update all the alteration work done in the alteration files
- Maintain the workshop area tidy
- Monitor the level and condition of all the tailoring equipment, making sure that stock level and condition are enough for daily activity. For any reorder of tailoring equipment,
- Responsible for communicating fitting information to sales team
- Perform other duties as directed
