Job Description

ROLE: PROJECT MANAGER (Furniture/Interior)
EXP: 34 Years
OnSite
LOCATION: Surulere Lagos State
Proximity to Area is key


We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing of furniture. You will be ultimately responsible for planning organizing and controlling furniture production to ensure that products are produced efficiently on time within budget and to standard.
We expect you to have deep knowhow in Furniture production procedures. If you are up to it we would like to talk to you.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Estimate production costs and set production budgets
Manage production budgets and Implement cost control programs
Plan a production schedule for the job and ensure Implementation and control the production schedule
Review and adjust the schedule where needed
Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments including procurement distribution and management
Determine the human and material resources required
Manage human and material resources to meet production targets
Make decisions about equipment use maintenance modification and procurement when required
Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to
Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
Set and Monitor product quality standards
Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives and timelines
Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems
Determine and implement improvements to the production process
Prepare and maintain production reports
Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement

Required Skill/ Education:
34 years’ relevant experience in furniture manufacturing with project management skill is a must.
OND/HND/Degree in woodworking Architecture or any other related discipline
Knowledge of business finance or management principles would be a plus
Knowledge of raw materials and quality systems and standards
knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance
knowledge of machines and tools would be an advantage
Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader
Decisionmaking and problemsolving will take up a great part of your day
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP software will be preferred
