POSITION : Resident Physician

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Resident Physician you will play a critical role in the diagnosis treatment and management of medical conditions commonly encountered in general practice. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a vulnerable segment of the population providing not only medical care but also compassion and understanding.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Medical Expertise: Conduct comprehensive diagnoses treatments and management plans for a wide range of medical conditions. Stay abreast of the latest medical guidelines and practices to provide evidencebased care.
- Statutory and Preventive Health: Perform medical examinations to fulfill statutory requirements and conduct basic health screenings. Engage in preventive medicine practices to enhance patient wellbeing.
- Mental Health Support: Offer basic mental health counseling supporting the psychological wellbeing of patients. Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
- Administrative Duties: Assist in the smooth operation of the medical centre including patient scheduling record management and coordination of care services.
- Flexibility and Innovation: Embrace flexible working hours with the option to take on additional evening shifts and telemedicine consultations. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and patient care practices.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the medical and administrative team contributing to a culture of excellence and compassion. Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical License: Must be CReg or Full Reg certified. Additional certifications or specialties in areas relevant to general practice and migrant health are highly desirable.
- Experience: Previous experience in a general practice or similar setting is preferred. Familiarity with the healthcare needs of migrant populations is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
