Job Description

We are seeking to hire a Business Performance Manager for our client one of Africa's leading independent E & P players. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving and optimizing the operational and financial performance of the asset. The role will involve analyzing key performance indicators tracking & reporting the status of the assets’ strategic goals identifying areas for process improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency profitability and sustainability. The role holder will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to align business objectives drive performance excellence and support the achievement of strategic goals.

Department: Commercial/Planning & Economics Manager

Requirements/Skills:

  • A professionally qualified Business Performance Manager with a University degree (BSc) in Engineering Business Administration Finance or any related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Business Performance Manager professional of at least 7 years in the upstream oil & gas industry with a focus on business performance analysis strategic planning or operations management
  • Proficient in data analysis techniques statistical methods and data visualization tools to extract insights and drive informed decision making.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles budgeting cost analysis and financial modeling.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies with experience leading crossfunctional projects or initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to lead strategic planning processes set SMART objectives and develop actionable strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements industry standards and best practices pertaining to upstream oil & gas operations.
  • Understanding of risk management principles risk assessment techniques and the ability to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in change management processes organizational transformation and driving cultural change to achieve operational excellence.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships influence stakeholders and foster collaboration across organizational boundaries
