Responsibilities:
Reach out to scheduled patients to confirm their upcoming appointments and provide necessary details.
Maintain and update the appointment calendar to ensure accurate scheduling and availability.
Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner providing necessary information and assistance.
Ensure accurate and uptodate patient records are maintained following all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
Collaborate with medical staff to manage daily schedules ensuring efficient patient flow and optimal utilization of resources.
Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality at all times adhering to established protocols and procedures.
Address frequently asked questions from patients providing clear and helpful responses.
Assist patients with rescheduling appointments as needed accommodating their preferences and availability.
Coordinate referrals from other healthcare providers ensuring seamless transitions for patients.
Craft and send personalized communications to patients enhancing their overall experience and engagement.
Reach out to patients after their sessions to gather feedback address any concerns and ensure satisfaction.
Previous experience in a similar role preferably in a physical therapy setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in managing appointment calendars and electronic medical records (EMR) systems; familiarity with TheraOffice EMR is a plus.
Spanishspeaking is required.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
