DGM Onboard Mechanical

Key Accountabilities:
1. Ensure the implementation of approved departmental policies processes and procedures
providing instructions to subordinates and monitoring their adherence.
2. Lead and control the workforce engaged in the overhaul and calibration of mechanical equipment

machinery and/or rudder and propellerrelated work to ensure completion within allocated man
hours and resources.

3. Coordinate work progress with project managers superintendents other trades and within the
department.
4. Liaise with Invoicers/Estimators to ensure commercial targets are met.
5. Organize and supervise the activities of a small team of subordinates engaged in mechanical
repairs machine operation rudder repair propeller polishing balancing gouging Voss seal
servicing etc. ensuring efficient and compliant work within a specific area of departmental
activity.
6. Prepare departmental reports accurately and on time to meet company and departmental
requirements policies and standards.
