Job Title : WIFI Engineer (ONSITE DAY ONE)

Location : Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Duration : 6 Months Plus

Job Description:

Looking for WIFI Engineer (ONSITE DAY ONE) along with below mentioned skills:

• Understanding of latest WiFi technologies WiF6E WiFi7 and aware of WiFi industry standards and associations like WBA and WFA.
• Ability to understand and optimize network for convergence of Wireless WiFi and 5G
• Experience in Testing WiFi Networks
• Strong in WiFi Protocols
• Indepth understanding of Spectrum and packet capture/analysis
• Experience with broadband product including CPE RDKB devices DOCSIS Cable Modem standards etc.
• Experience designing and implementing WLAN wireless networks and RF Link
• Investigate and validate hardware compliance with 802.11 protocols and features.
• work with test equipment such as Octoscope Candela or Veriwave.
• Verify that the WiFi hardware adheres to industry standards (such as IEEE 802.11 specifications).
• Conduct tests to ensure compliance with specific WiFi protocols (e.g. 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
• Evaluate the hardwares performance under various conditions (e.g. different data rates channel widths and modulation schemes).
• Analyze RF propagation interference and noise. In depth understanding of WiFi authentication protocols (WPA2/WPA3/802.1X with EAPTLS/PEAP) Expertise in neighbor reports fast BSS transitions and BSS transition management and proficient in 802.11k 802.11r and 802.11v. Analyze client behavior signal strength and handover performance.
