Responsible for pulling supplies off the shelves to fulfill departmental orders for all CareMount sites packing them up and staging them for distribution. Acts as backup courier. Work is performed in a warehouse environment. Requires prolonged standing bending stooping and stretching. Some driving to satellite locations is required. Requires lifting up to 80 pounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pull items off shelves to fulfill each departments order as indicated on the inventory fulfillment sheet provided by the Warehouse Manager.
Pack up each departments order and prepare them for courier pick up in the staging area.
Assist in putting away newly received supplies in the appropriate site and bin when requested.
Rotate stock for timely usage and check for expiration dates removing any product past its date.
Process daily order fulfillment requests off inhouse inventory computer system.
Performs stat deliveries of specimens and supplies when requested and acts as back up courier for all routes to cover absenteeism vacations etc.
Keeps warehouse orderly and neat discarding packaging waste in the outside dumpster.
Provide assistance with the movement of furniture and large equipment throughout the Group when needed.
Performs other related work as requested by the Warehouse Manager.
Qualifications and Education:
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year related work experience preferably in a healthcare stockroom setting.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES: Knowledge of stockroom policies and procedures. Skilled in using tools such as a tape gun box cutter and hand truck. Ability to count read understand and follow oral and written instructions in English. Ability to drive a van. Ability to work as an effective team member and exhibit a positive attitude.
REQUIREMENTS: Clean valid state drivers license.
