Job Description

Please see below details on the PAM Support Engineer position we have open.

This is a tough one considering IBM Guardium requirement but with your help we might have success!

Visa: USC/GC

Rate: $40/hr

Location: Remote or hybrid in Portland OR/Orange CT

The end client is Avangrid and the SI is NTT Data.

This person will be providing L2 support for our clients CyberArk and IBM Guardium systems.

If they only have strong experience with one of them we can consider their profile.

They must have a strong understanding of PAM concepts and experience working with vendors to resolve issues.

They will also be expected to provide 24/7 oncall rotation support for troubleshooting and remediation.

RESPONSABILITIES


Join an exciting initiative to strengthen our clients privileged access management by integrating CyberArk and IBM Guardium Data Protection and enhancing cybersecurity infrastructure in performance and availability.
Provides L2 support for CyberArk including but not limited to:
Resolving user access issues
Troubleshooting account failures
Responding to configuration issues that may arise (ex: issues with data backup or archive storage capacity high disk usage scheduled job failures etc.)
Availability monitoring/response
Patch management.
Provides L2 support for IBM Guardium Data Protection including but not limited to:
Managing Guardium installations/uninstallations on database servers
Responding to configuration issues that may arise (ex: issues with data backup or archive storage capacity high disk usage scheduled job failures etc.)
Availability monitoring/response
Patch management.
Monitor CyberArk and Guardium servers for performance and availability. Make recommendations when necessary to meet the expected demands increase efficiency and reduce obsolescence.
Install/maintain third party software packages as required (i.e. system upgrades).
Create and maintain uptodate admin documentation for troubleshooting and support processes.
Requirements:

5 years of combined experience with CyberArk and IBM Guardium Data Protection including but not limited to resolving user access issues troubleshooting account failures responding to configuration issues managing installations/uninstallations on database servers availability monitoring/response and patch management.
Good experience in implementation and integration of CyberArk
Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) concepts
Knowledge of all aspects of system admin (installation configuration networking licensing).
Experience with a variety of operating systems and database platforms like Windows Linux (Ubuntu CentOS Red Hat) UNIX Netware Oracle SQL PostgreSQL Mongo and DB2.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and remediate issues.
Proven experience troubleshooting over a wide range of infrastructure.
Ability to provide 24/7 oncall rotation support for troubleshooting and remediation efforts related to the PAM solution.
Ability to develop and maintain vendor relationships.
Ability to coordinate multiple ongoing priorities with multiple individuals and departments.
Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

Ideally this person needs BOTH CyberArk and IBM Guardium experience. We are open to candidates with one of them as well.
