Job Description

Role: Executive Chef

Location: Irvine CA

Salary: $75K $110K/ year

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Chef to oversee the culinary operations of our restaurant chain. As the head chef youll ensure topnotch culinary management across multiple sites maintaining the highest standards in food quality and kitchen practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee food preparation ensuring dishes are prepared quickly without compromising quality and freshness.

Uphold strict hygiene standards and ensure kitchen equipment cleanliness.

Innovate by designing new recipes planning diverse menus and crafting appealing plate presentations.

Manage kitchen staff levels to align with operational and budgetary goals.

Keep abreast of industry trends to drive restaurant success.

Guarantee exceptional food service and presentation while effectively managing food costs.

Set and enforce staff performance standards.

Gather and respond to customer feedback regarding food and service quality.

Adhere to all nutrition sanitation and safety regulations.

Collaborate with general managers to manage costs and forecast financials accurately.

Work with marketing teams to develop promotional activities and campaigns.

Develop policies to enhance and assess quality.

Responsible for the recruitment and training of kitchen staff.

Undertake additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience as an Executive Chef is essential.

Culinary education of at least 2 years with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.

Deep understanding of food preparation and kitchen management.

Demonstrated ability to lead in a diverse setting with a strong focus on customer service.

Knowledgeable in human resources and current labor laws
