Net Full Stack Developer With Agritech

Hybrid 3 days in office.

ROLE SUMMARY

The IT Programmer for Precision Agriculture specializes in leading the development and upkeep of critical Data/API integrations with external parties focusing on delivering solutions that are functional reliable and efficient. This role involves an active collaboration with business analysts technical leads and fellow programmers.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Regularly evaluate the existing Data/API features to identify areas for enhancement.

Implement performance optimization strategies to ensure the Data/API operates efficiently.

Stay up to date with new technologies and industry best practices to incorporate in the Data/API.

Collaborate with different teams such as frontend developers database administrators and product managers to integrate Data/API components.

Ensure seamless communication and understanding across crossfunctional teams to facilitate effective integration.

Assist in the planning and architectural decisionmaking processes.

Engage in building and managing technical solutions that align with organizational standards and processes.

Follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) protocols to deliver highquality software.

Verify that both functional(what the system should do) and nonfunctional (how the system should perform) requirements are welldefined and understood.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for the software including design specifications test cases and user guides.

Engage in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

Validate that the design documentation and test coverage are adequate for the requirements and usecases.

Oversee the implementation of new features and manage any changes to existing functionalities.

Address technical incidents and problems in a timely manner adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and support principles.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

510 years of API development experience (depending on programmer level).

Extensive knowledge of .NET and Web UI/Java Script Frameworks.

Possess strong database development skills within SQL (SQL Server).

Possess knowledge and experience with integration architecture patterns standards frameworks or tools.

The position requires practical experience in designing and implementing security protocols and patterns to ensure robust protection of systems and data.

Solid understanding and handson experience in designing implementing deploying and maintaining public facing high performing and scalable enterprise web services and APIs.

Strong knowledge / experience is required in SOA WCF Web Services (SOAP REST XML JSON) and various transport and security protocols.

Possess work experience with application development tools (e.g. GIT Visual Studio Azure DevOps etc.)

The candidate must have experience with Test Driven Design including a proven track record of converting requirements into usecases and subsequently into unit and functional test cases.

Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Agricultural Technology (AgTech) geoprocessing and Geographic Information System (GIS) frameworks indicating an understanding of the specialized tools and methods used in the agricultural domain for data processing and spatial analysis.

The candidate must be able to work a hybrid schedule (3 days per week in the office).

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or related field.
