Our client CMBlu Energy Inc. has pioneered the field of flow batteries based on organic/carbon electrolytes. Thier technology aims to be the choice for safe sustainable and secure commercial & industrial and utilityscale energy storage.

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager (m/f/d) to oversee C&I and utilityscale energy storage projects starting at 12 MW/10 MWh throughout the U.S. Additionally this individual will play a role in supporting the establishment of our new U.S. manufacturing facility.

This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work both remotely and in the Petaluma CA office providing flexibility and autonomy while managing impactful renewable energy projects in a dynamic and supportive work environment. Remote candidates must live near a major airport.

Tasks

• Managing storage projects throughout the U.S. from inception to completion ensuring timelines expectations budgets and quality standards
• Collaborating with internal teams external vendors and stakeholders to define project scope objectives and deliverables
• Developing comprehensive project plans including scheduling resource allocation risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Overseeing project execution monitoring progress resolving issues and ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements
• Assisting with development and winning proposals for government and nongovernment funding opportunities
• Staying current on industry trends technological advancements and regulatory developments related to energy storage projects
• Fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment supporting and empowering project team members to achieve project success

Requirements

• Technical business or related degree required
• Project Management Professional certification preferred
• Energy storage experience required
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful 1 MW delivery of energy storage is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Project or other project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a hybrid remote/inoffice environment
• Willing to travel up to 30% domestically and ability to travel internationally as needed
