Job Description
My People Solutions Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Disability SIL House Team Leader for a 1:3 High Intensity Supports SIL House.
To be considered for this role you MUST have experience of leading a SIL House with people with complex disabilities including Diabetes Management Seizure & Epilepsy Support Mealtime Management & Dysphagia Advanced Manual Handling Medication Administration and who are committed to delivering quality care.

If you have at least 2 years experience leading a SIL House with high intensity level supports and all your documents (including a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check) please contact us immediately.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience of being a SIL House Team Leader.
- Medication Administration Certificate & a good knowledge & understanding of successfully working with high intensity clients.
- Experience of working with people with Diabetes Epilepsy Intellectual Disabilities Mental Health Dementia & Advance Manual Handling Supports Behaviours of Concern & Restrictive Practice required.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check.
- A current Police Check Vaccinations (including COVID) CPR & First Aid & the right to work in Australia.
- Driving Licence and access to a reliable car are essential.
- Cert III Individual Supports Cert IV Disability and / or Mental Health Care Qualification is expected.
- Integrity honesty & reliability is critical for this role.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake online complex knowledge & skills screening as part of your application before completing online training and attending a paid induction course with our Registered Nurse before being commencing work.
NOTE: This role includes personal care and assistance as a standard part of the support workers role.
