Remote Managed Care Representative

Position: Managed Care Representative

Location: Fully remote with occasional travel to different locations in the State of Indiana

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Managed Care Representative to educate and support assigned provider groups on all aspects of our Plan and its subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will help develop policies procedures and educational materials for use with all Provider Programs as well as create benchmarks to measure performance against the Plans goals. Building and maintaining effective relationships with key physicians and office staff of contracted medical delivery entities is a crucial aspect of this role. The candidate will also be responsible for contracting PCPs Specialists and Ancillary providers in their defined servicing area as well as conducting claims research and resolution. All duties will be carried out in collaboration with the contracting staff and other key senior staff as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma/GED

Two (2) years experience and knowledge of HMO PPO TPA PHO and Managed Care claims operations or provider billing functions

Valid state drivers license reliable transportation and automobile insurance coverage

OR

Equivalent combination of two (2) years college coursework and experience in Managed Care claims operations or provider billing functions

Valid state drivers license reliable transportation and automobile insurance coverage

Preferred:

Associate degree in business health care or related field

Two (2) years experience in contracting and/or servicing hospitals and/or physician organizations and their office staff

Established relationships with providers in the Plans service areas

Additional Information:

Schedule: Fulltime

Daily Work Times: 8:00 am 5:00 pm

Hours Per Pay Period: 80

On Call: No

Weekends: No
