Job Description
Job Qualifications:
Job Responsibilities:
- Candidates must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in electrical design or a technical capacity.
- Proficiency in controls including PLC HMI and Motion Controlled Programs is essential.
- Familiarity with electrical engineering design practices is required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills at a technical level are necessary.
- Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States on a permanent basis as no visa sponsorship/support is provided for this position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Revamp electrical panel layouts designs and CAD schematics to align with industry standards and project requirements.
- Conduct thorough calculations performance research and component selection to meet design specifications.
- Develop equipment sections to match required standards.
- Generate bills of material and relevant paperwork according to internal protocols.
- Engage in design reviews to assess work order requirements and cost implications.
- Design and implement machine logic using PLC operator interface applications and servo motion controls.
- Execute drawing changes following ECO procedures. Scrutinize drawings and bills of materials pertaining to assigned projects.
- Document design considerations concepts and software codes. Represent the design team in work order and final design reviews as necessary.
- Conduct machine startup and debugging before shipment.
- Aid in field startup and troubleshooting machine issues.
- Direct various design activities for assigned projects.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure adherence to quality and internal design practices.
- Travel as needed.
