Job Description
The Position holder is responsible for executing tasks by applying relevant industry codes
standards and/or project specific standards. The candidate should be aware of Detail
Engineering Basics of Mechanical Engineering Knowledge on the design calculations Layout/
Detail drawings/ Exploded drawings/ Sub assembly drawings knowledge on the design files
Knowledge on GD&T Material Properties and Applications Material Master BOM functions as
Surface Rapid Response Engineer. The position reports to the Engineering Manager.
Successful Position holders are excellent communicators enjoy solving problems and work
well in teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Demonstrates a proven working knowledge of various technical principles within a
specific engineering discipline as well as basic knowledge of these elements in other
disciplines.
Uses judgment based on practice and precedence.
Has ability to apply knowledge to resolve issues of moderate scope and complexity
using proven approaches and techniques.
No supervisory responsibility but provides informal guidance and support to new team
members.
Develops understanding of team concepts soliciting promoting and encouraging
members ideas goals and efforts.
Must be able to exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way
and be sensitive to audience diversity.
Requires a degree of tact and diplomacy when dealing with others and handling
sensitive issues.
Maintains confidentiality and keep appropriate people informed.
The job has indirect impact by assisting more senior engineers in carrying out technical
tasks requiring computation methods.
The impact is related to the quality and timeliness of execution.
