Job Description
Oracle/PostgreSQL/Aurora MySQL/ Aurora PostgreSQL Database on AWS
Experience with database migrations to AWS Cloud
Design deploy and support databases on Ec2 AWS RDS and VMware platform
Candidate should possess handson experience in working on some of the relational and nonrelational databases (Oracle/SQL Server/DB2/PostgreSQL/MySQL/Golden Gate/Data Guard) on AWS and/or onprem infrastructure.
3 years Experience with AWS Services like AWS RDS Aurora EC2 S3 DMS AWS Backups and DynamoDB.
3 years Experience with the Design and deployment of Amazon Machine Images (AMI) for Database.
8 Oracle experience in Production Environment: Install Configure Patch Upgrade and Support databases in Production.
6 SQL Server experience in Production Environment: Install Configure Patch Upgrade and Support databases in Production.
5 Db2 experience in a Production Environment: Install Configure Patch Upgrade and Support databases in Production knowledge with qrep.
Experience with AWS Cloud Service Provider Architecture deployment use cases and best practices.
Oracle DataPump and RMAN: Backup and Recovery.
5 years Oracle Golden Gate Replication: Install Configure Upgrade Support & Troubleshoot.
5 years SQL server AlwaysOn: Install Configure Upgrade Support & Troubleshoot.
UNIX / Linux OS Performance tuning.
SQL Shell Scripting.
Experience in database migrations from onprem to AWS Cloud replication technologies like Oracle Golden Gate/HVR
Agile methodology and skill including experience with Scrum Ceremonies and work management tools (e.g. (JIRA Confluence).
Work as a crossfunctional team member to support multiple work streams and products.
Excellent Communication Skills.
Should be able to support OnCall rotation.
