Job Description:
As the Guam Program Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing project or program operations in Guam with a focus on Federal projects. Your role will involve coordinating with stakeholders managing project schedules and budgets and ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Project/Program Management: Lead and manage project or program operations in Guam ensuring successful delivery of Federal projects.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with clients government agencies subcontractors and other stakeholders to align project objectives and requirements.
- Budget and Schedule Management: Develop and manage project budgets and schedules tracking expenses milestones and deliverables to ensure timely and withinbudget project completion.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with project specifications regulations and quality standards conducting regular inspections and audits as necessary.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks proactively addressing issues and implementing contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to project teams fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports updates and performance metrics to stakeholders and senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization implementing best practices and lessons learned to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in project or program management preferably in Federal projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of project management principles methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with Guam regulations and requirements.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- Residence in Guam (preferred).
