Mechanic

OR

• At least 5 years of experience supporting engineering activities and/or automotive or diesel mechanic experience

Desired Skills

• Previous mechanic experience involving truck and engine assembly repair and fabrication. Strong mechanical aptitude
• Vehicle experience that includes some of the following: commercial vehicles offhighway vehicles agriculture vehicles and/or passenger vehicles
• Experience with alternative fuels including EV (electric vehicles) and/or Propane
• Experience with Cummins/Allison/Eaton/Duramax
• Training/Education as a Truck mechanic as a Diesel Engine mechanic
• Experience with welding fabrication with Tig Mig Stick Oxy
• Acetylene Welding skills & plasma cutting
• Knowledge of multimeter and/or module programming
• Prior dealership or fleet service experience
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook Excel Powerpoint

Highly Preferred Skills:

• Associates Degree in Automotive Technology 3 Years of Diesel Experience
  OR 5 years of Diesel Mechanic experience
• Experience working on heavy trucks or equipment
