Servicenow Integration Developer ITSM
Role Description:
The ServiceNow Automation and Integration Developer who will work closely with other members of the platform team globally to ensure the stability and growth of ServiceNow. The Automation and Integration Developer will bring expertise and provide overall guidance on best practices and standards to serve all business and technology groups. The position will require the ability to multitask and work independently as well as work collaboratively with teams some of which may be geographically distributed.
Responsibilities
Designs develops configures and customizes ServiceNow applications and services to automate and integrate workflows Write ServiceNow integrations and automations using integration hub and other technologies Delivers new functionality across applications Supports entire development lifecycle Analyze and translate business information and technical requirements into architectural blueprints Propose solutions to achieve complex business objectives Advise on configuration and coding standards Support the design and implementation of a platform operating model to achieve desired outcomes and facilitate enduser adoption Guidance on prototyping and accelerating time from design to deployment Drive solid instance health by reviewing and guiding the remediation of configurations that do not align to ServiceNow best practices Define solutions across the platform that align to out of the box capabilities Drive the adoption of new features and functionality Work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to align with other products and solutions Lead technical conversations and assist in training and mentoring of more junior staff
Qualifications
- Certified ServiceNow Developer
- ITILv4 certified
- Strong technical foundation in the ServiceNow platform as a developer
- Proficient in identifying solutions for ServiceNow integrations and workflow automations
- 4 years hand on experience with the ServiceNow platform
- 6 years relevant experience in Information Technology
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related fields preferred
- Cloud application technology experience
- Enterprise architecture experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work within a complex business environment
- Highly motivated to work on large and complex solutions
- Proven experience navigating complex matrixed and global organizations
- Proven ability to operate in a constant state of change adapting style approach and delivery to drive to business outcomes in a pragmatic manner
- Proven ability to think innovatively in developing and executing change
- Excellent facilitation skills and proven ability in promoting collaboration within and across teams
Proven ability to promote sharing of best practices and leverage learnings across teams.
