You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAbout the role: Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Flight Operations team as a Senior Aeronautical Information Management Officer to be based in Doha, Qatar. As a Senior Aeronautical Information Management Officer, you will be responsible for managing daily activities related to publication of Aeronautical information used within the Qatar Airways group. You will also be involved in managing TOPs NOTAM Manager for business usage and compliance, support line manager to implement policies, operational plan and project deployments. Specific responsibilities for the role include: • Manage Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) subscription services for budget purposes. • Perform analysis of NOTAM and AIP content for operational impact and acceptance testing of TOPs NOTAM Manager for business compliance. • Ensure timely distribution of critical aeronautical information to end user is maintained. • Liaise with State Authority and external agencies for queries related to Aeronautical information. • Create and maintain operational content published in Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) section manual. • Assess business requirement for development of TOPs NOTAM Manager as well as maintaining TOPs NOTAM Manager user guide. • Oversee the daily activities of Aeronautical Information Management office to ensure high standard of service is maintained. Qualifications About you The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: • Relevant College or University qualifications with minimum 5 years of job-related experience. • Experience working in either Airline flight support-role with a navigation background or Aeronautical Information Service office environment. • Experience in the handling of Aeronautical Information publications. • Knowledge of AIS activities related to Aeronautical Information Publications and NOTAMs. • Demonstrate knowledge in aviation navigation subjects and aviation regulatory publications. • Experience in using flight planning system, preferably LIDO. • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software’s (Word, Excel, outlook, PowerPoint). • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
