We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to play an integral role in a committed multidisciplinary team.
37 hours Permanent FullTime

Responsibilities
- Focus on evaluating the services provided to patients or residents through conducting studies.
- The Centre requires a strict commitment to maintaining confidentiality for all patient/resident matters staff information and business affairs.
- Maintain the Centres compliance with statutory regulations and guidelines always.
- Support in implementing practice innovations within the facility and assess their efficiency.
- Analyze the psychological needs of the existing patient population and formulate recommendations for addressing these needs.
Requirements
- Obtaining a recognized thirdlevel degree or diploma (equivalent to QQ1 level 8) with psychology as the major subject.
- The Department of Health validates an equivalent qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology which is a recognized postgraduate professional qualification.
- A minimum of five years of postgraduate experience in professional psychology is required.
- Experience working within adult mental health/geriatric psychiatry after completing relevant qualifications.
- A background in the healthcare field is essential.
- Excellent ability to assess formulate and write reports at an exceptionally high professional level.
