Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategicminded Senior Accountant to lead our finance team. The Senior Accountant will oversee the accounting function ensure accurate financial reporting and provide valuable insights to support decisionmaking and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze complex financial statements reports and budgets in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• General Ledger Management: Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• MonthEnd Close: Lead and manage the monthend and yearend closing processes including journal entries account reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and oversee the preparation of budgets forecasts and financial projections to support strategic planning and decisionmaking.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct indepth financial analysis variance analysis and trend analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and provide insights to management.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit requests and compliance with audit requirements.
• Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to optimize accounting processes systems and controls to enhance efficiency accuracy and compliance.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance mentorship and training to accounting staff fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. Masters degree or CPA certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
