Key Responsibilities:
- Generate detailed 3D structural models using BIM software (e.g. Autodesk Revit) based on architectural and engineering drawings specifications and other project documents.
- Create structural elements including columns beams slabs walls foundations and other components in accordance with design requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) engineers and other disciplines to ensure coordination and clashfree integration of structural elements within the overall building model.
- Conduct clash detection analysis to identify and resolve conflicts between structural elements and other building systems.
- Develop detailed drawings sections and schedules derived from the structural BIM model for construction documentation.
- Coordinate with the design team to incorporate design changes and revisions into the structural model and associated documentation.
- Perform regular QA/QC checks on the structural BIM model to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with project standards.
- Address and resolve any errors discrepancies or inconsistencies in the model in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with project team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Participate in coordination meetings and design reviews to provide input on structural design issues and solutions.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering Architecture or related field.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit Tekla Structures or Bentley OpenBuildings Designer.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.
- Experience in the development and coordination of structural models for building projects.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in modeling and documentation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Certification or training in BIM software and workflows.
- Familiarity with parametric modeling techniques and advanced BIM functionalities.
- Previous experience working on largescale or complex building projects.
