Territory Account Manager with Machinery/Manufacturing Background Direct Hire Position!
Stratfield is seeking a Territory Account Manager to join our client a leader in software for machinery shops. A qualified candidate will have come from an engineering/manufacturing/machinery backgrounds and have a minimum of 4 years of Sales/Account Management experience. This is an incredible opportunity to truly own a territory and work with an incredibly talented team of individuals and earn uncapped commissions! Territory is located in the Pacific Northwest.
What you will do:
- Follow up on sales leads with timely and accurate information (customized for each prospect) via phone email or webbased communication.
- Generation of your own sales leads in a defined protected territory.
- Gather and document accurate information about prospects in order to present to the technical team.
- Coordinate online meetings and demonstrations with technical team and Prospects/Customers.
- Quote product and services pricing.
- Lead qualification using the phone in person visits and documentation in a CRM.
- Create programs and manage projects that generate leads in territory.
- Travel as needed.
What is required:
- 4 years of experience in B2B sales/account management for the manufacturing industry. CAD/CAM solution selling is a slam dunk!
- A Technical Degree is highly preferred.
- A background or education in technical manufacturing/machinery.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned region. This will not be weekly.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong drive and commitment to exceed sales goals.
