Job Description

Our client an international industrial company specializing in highvalue industrial equipment and based in the Frenchspeaking part of Switzerland has commissioned us to search for an:

International Sales Engineer

Tasks

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director your mission is to market industrial machines from an existing client portfolio and to open new markets in Europe North America or Latin America. Your clients are SMEs or large industrial companies and you will interact with highlevel contacts. You will be a key player in the companys growth. You will develop strategies to achieve sales targets and identify needs from clients and local agents. You will manage the entire sales process (offers tenders client followup contract negotiation project followup etc.) in close collaboration with the engineering department. You will motivate and supervise local agents abroad and sales forces. You will be the brand ambassador and perceived as a technical expert by clients.

Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical engineering / microtechnology / electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in selling industrial equipment
  • Strong technical knowledge (ideally in mechanics machinery automation production lines etc.)
  • Ability to develop a sales strategy and negotiate substantial contracts
  • Reactive dynamic perseverant and good interpersonal skills
  • Convincing in presenting your cases
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in French and English
  • Very good knowledge of Spanish
  • Knowledge of German or other languages is an additional asset
  • Experience in project management
  • Proficiency in common IT tools

You should have an analytical mindset with a very good overall vision. You are charismatic with an outgoing personality. You have a business sense and an innate sense for negotiation. Capable of working independently as well as in a multicultural environment. You are dynamic enthusiastic and enjoy challenges. You particularly enjoy traveling. You can negotiate in English and other languages are an additional asset.
