We are looking for someone who knows how to make a house a home. We are currently looking for a Registered Manager to join the team to is enthusiastic and determined in supporting the lives of Children.
The Registered Manager would take full responsibility for the management of the Home and to provide the highest quality of care and support to Children and Young People in accordance with Company policies procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body. Ensure that regulation requirements are met through the Home's Statement of Purpose and that this statement meets organisation requirements and is implemented and reviewed within the appropriate timescales.
Pay:£42000.00£55000.00 per year

Responsible for: The Home Staff and Children/Children and Young People

Children and young people's relatives advocates and others in their network
Placing Authorities

Registration Regulatory and Inspection bodies

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of a registered children's home.
Develop and implement care plans for children in accordance with their individual needs.
Provide leadership and guidance to a team of caregivers and support staff.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in the facility.
Administer medications and perform medical procedures as required.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's care and progress.
Collaborate with parents guardians and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for children.
Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
Essential Experience:
Within the last 5 years worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
Must successfully complete a “fit persons” interview with the Registration Authority (Ofsted).
Previous experience in a leadership role in a childcare or similar setting.
Worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
Ability to develop and manage care plans for children with diverse needs.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children parents and staff members.
Have appropriate experience qualification and skills to manage the home effectively and lead the care of children; and be physically and mentally fit to manage the home.
Full and satisfactory information is available in relation to each of the matters in Schedule 2.
Driving licence.
Desirable:
Children Services (England) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
