Join the Team as an IT Systems Administrator!
Are you a tech wizard looking to cast your spell on a dynamic IT environment We re on the hunt for an IT Systems Administrator who s ready to keep our digital heartbeat pulsing at our prestigious Estate!
What You ll Do:
- Be the hero who installs configures and zaps technical issues for both hardware and software.
- Master the digital realm by managing clientbased computer operating systems.
- Keep a vigilant eye on our systems tackling security or usability concerns with lightning speed.
- Safeguard our digital treasures with backups of Servers using Acronis Cyber Cloud.
- Propel our systems into the future with upgrades that boost functionality and fortify security.
- Command an arsenal of tech tools: firewalls malware protection virtual servers and more!
- Roll out the welcome mat for new staff by setting up accounts and workstations.
- Dive into troubleshooting missions to resolve issues and outages.
- Ensure our WIFI connections are as steadfast as your resolve with 100% uptime.
- Oversee our phone system and Office 365 accounts ensuring seamless communication.
- Maintain a meticulous record of all computer assets.
- Lend your expertise to multimedia setups from DSTV to home automation.
Requirements
What You ll Need:
- A high school diploma and a relevant IT diploma/certificate.
- Shiny Microsoft certifications.
- At least 3 years of experience in systems administration.
- A network ninja familiar with LAN WAN and patch management.
- A VPN virtuoso with knowledge of Office 365 Cloud services and various WIFI AP s.
- Preferably an ace with DSTV systems for the hospitality industry.
- A problemsolving powerhouse for any IT tech and multimedia challenges.
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks work independently and thrive under pressure.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision.
- Stellar interpersonal and communication skills ready to engage at all levels.
- You need your own car
- Have to live in or around the Stellenbosch Area

Grade 12 plus relevant diploma/certificate in Information Technology Microsoft certifications Preferably 3 years experience in systems administration Familiar with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management General knowledge of VPNs Knowledge of Office 365 Cloud services (Hosted emails), Forti AP's and other WIFI AP's, HP Aruba Switches and VLAN, Windows 1011 and Server 20192022, Active Directory administration (users, groups, group policy, DNS, DHCP, organizational units), fiber connections and different topologies Preferably knowledge of DSTV systems for the hospitality industries Excellent problem-solving skills with regards to any IT technology and multimedia Ability to work independently and under pressure Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines Excellent high level of attention to detail and accuracy Good interpersonal skills and communication skills ability to liaise at all levels
