Therefore we are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our clients team as the Head of Corporate Development & Governance.
As the Head of Corporate Development & Governance you will play a critical role in overseeing and guiding our compliance governance and corporate development strategies. You will be responsible for addressing key issues in MaRiskCompliance ESGCompliance Governance and Financial Crime. Your expertise will ensure our operations are aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices fostering a culture of integrity and accountability within the organization.
Tasks
- Compliance Management: Lead and manage the MaRiskCompliance and ESGCompliance frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Governance: Develop and implement robust governance policies and procedures ensuring transparent and effective corporate governance practices.
- Financial Crime Prevention: Oversee and enhance our financial crime prevention measures including antimoney laundering (Geldwsche) protocols.
- Corporate Development: Drive strategic initiatives that promote corporate growth and development working closely with senior management and the Vorstandsstab.
- Internal Controls: Strengthen internal control mechanisms to safeguard the organization against risks and ensure operational efficiency.
- Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Requirements
- Experience: long term experience in corporate development board support compliance money laundering prevention or internal control units within a financial services company.
- Education: Advanced degree in Finance Law Business Administration or a related field.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of MaRiskCompliance ESGCompliance governance frameworks and financial crime regulations.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage crossfunctional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with proficiency in German and English.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen eye for detail
