To keep track on calibrations, stamping, inspection of all machines wherever required and maintain all the certificates/correspondence.
Procure and maintain inventory of spares for plant and equipment.
Manage disposal of waste as per local law and guidelines.
Adhere and enforce health and safety and environmental procedures and guidelines within the department.
To comply with all statutory requirements including Pollution Control Board, Electricity Board etc.
Maintain documentation of all preventive maintenance schedules and contracts.
Conduct regular safety briefings and walk around to ensure HSE requirements are met.
Conduct inspections and assist with HSE self audits to ensure HSE rules and regulations are complied with
Regular checking of safety guards & limit switches.
Ensure work permits are issued and POWRA is carried out for all permits as required by the HSE Standards.
Periodical reporting as work progress needed.
Supports QHSE Manager in emergency situations & emergency preparedness plans, including regular checks for emergency equipment & tools.
Ensure that environmental surveys /occupational hygiene surveys are carried out as and when required
Schedule and chair weekly USAC meeting with all departments.
Identification of unsafe electrical gear & wiring; damaged manhole covers; loose signage; roof sheeting; weak railings etc.
Full Time
