Job Description

About the role As Lead creative officer you will be responsible to conceptualise, plan, supervise and execute all marketing and corporate communication activities of QDFC. In addition, this role will also project manage delivery creative/digital media across all digital platforms and all External Promotional activities conducted at the Duty-Free premises. This role will extract and execute the best practices from the support staff in order to deliver efficiently all the relevant communications (internal and external) that will assist the Senior Management in achieving the established sales budgets. Accountabilities: • Define, follow and execute QDFC Brand Guidelines for effective communications to ensure collateral is consistent and cohesive • Create visual/graphic content both in motion and static form to ensure that campaigns are delivered across multimedia touch-points. • Research, design, develop and deliver creative concepts for shop floor/online activations and various internal/external communications to deliver optimum products and services. • Create and deliver concepts for marketing events, sponsorships and Travel Retail awards. • Take initiative to come up with and implement new creative concepts to improve the company's presence online and offline ensuring the latest trends are implemented. • Produce digital/dynamic content (animated GIFS, Cinemographs, kinetic typography, storytelling videos) that are to be used to build awareness and engage our online audience across the Qatar Duty Free website, social media and third-party advertising platforms. • Understand the needs of the business and contribute to deliver targets that meet the annual marketing calendar and the overall company strategy. • Assist the Creative Marketing Manager in all strategic and operational projects with regards, but not limited to; In-flight Duty Free, miles redemption, Duty Paid business and the Product and Business development of Qatar Duty Free. • Exceed creative excellence in every execution besides carrying out the brand image of the company. • Maintain and implement the DOA and Procurement policies of the company. • Maintain excellent relations with suppliers for procurement of creative projects. • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills with advertising companies and suppliers to achieve competitive rates on media and creative services. • Collaborate with and guide junior designers to ensure every project is delivered to high quality standards. • Monitor and control all offline activities, outdoor installations with creative updates, and support the digital team in order maximise sales through the website. • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department. Qualifications About you A successful candidate will have- • Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level with minimum 5 years relevant experience • Experience in design in the Retail industry would be an advantage • Demonstrated successful track record in creating and executing effective large marketing and advertising campaign • Must also have technical knowledge in Web, Print, Production and AN • Media Managerial skills • Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow • Strong mentoring and coaching skills and ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. • Ability to foster teamwork among team members
