Merchandise Associate
- Handles customer concerns and inquiries.
- Attends the cash register as needed.
- Coordinates with co-workers for smooth operations.
- Providing outstanding customer experiences.
- Receiving new merchandise and stocking shelves on the sales floor.
- Restocking and neatly repacking unsold items onto shelves.
- Preparing merchandise for purchase by entering items into store inventory and applying sales tags.
- Assembling product displays, dressing mannequins, and arranging merchandise in storefront windows.
- To ensure that all company's Merchandising directives are being adhered to.
- Ensuring that product prices are clearly marked and that items are properly displayed.
- Monitor everyday sales and the monthly physical inventory count.
- To analyze sales and inventory data to determine consumer preferences to optimize opportunities.
- Observe safety and security procedures. Reports any misuse or theft of stock to the merchandise supervisor.
- Assist in sales events, trade shows, marketing campaigns, and other product promotional activities.
- To ensure outstanding presentation and visual merchandising standards are always maintained. Ensure the shop is tidy, clean, and full at the end of the day.
- Provide updates to the business by communicating to the Management team.
- Ensure compliance with processes that remain efficient, effective, and streamlined
- To ensure all HR policies and procedures are adhered to.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma.
- Previous experience in retail, inventory, or merchandising.
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Arabic speaker is an advantage
- Good standard of numerical skills.
