Automation Engineer

Midwest multidisciplined engineering firm is looking to add an Automation Engineer to their Houston team!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design installation commissioning and testing process and instrumentation & control systems (SCADA)
  
• Collaborate with internal departments including information technology engineering and operations
  
• Provide project management manage teams and ensure quality control during all phases of project
  
• Provide instrumentation & control design services for water/wastewater treatment facilities pumping stations and related facilities
  
• Onsite work for municipal clients (instrumentation configuration installation assistance and control system and process startup/testing
  
• Oncall 24/7 (rotate weekly) to troubleshoot instrumentation/control issues
  

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  
• 5 years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Engineer performing design programming installation and startup tasks
  
• Programming experience using PLCs SCADA and OITs software
  
• Experience using various products (Concentric Integration primarily include AllenBradley SLC MicroLogix CompactLogix ControlLogix PanelView Rockwell FactoryTalk View GE iFIX Inductive Automation Ignition Wonderware System Platform InTouch and other hardware/software)
  
• Advanced computer skills
  
• Auto CAD/Visio experience preferred
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
