Job Title: Quality Systems Manager

Package: TBC/NEG

Reporting to the Technical Manager, responsibilities for the role will include

• Providing strong support to the Technical Manager in creating, communicating and driving the site Food Safety & Quality Culture plan
  
• Managing the approval of material suppliers, and ensuring relevant certification requirements are maintained (GMO, Vegan Society)
  
• Working Managing the Quality Management Systems to comply with regulatory, customer, industry and third-party/ accreditation bodies
  
• Creating & Implementing relevant procedures and associated documents detailed in the Quality Management System
  
• Perform regular internal and process audits from the QMS
  
• Supporting and implementing new quality systems for the company
  
• Managing the Food Safety Plan
  
• Ensuring accreditation compliance
  
• Managing internal and external audit platforms and managing non-conformance including raising and administering reports
  
• Supporting the Technical Manager in conducting incident investigations, including risk assessments
  
• Manage the nonconformity database
  

Essential / Desirable skills include:

• Experience working within a Food Manufacturing Technical Team with knowledge and understanding of Quality Systems and Quality Management
  
• Experience working with BRC, GMO
  
• Qualified Lead Auditor Preferred
  
• Experience of working with Multiple UK Retailers is essential for this role
  
• Experience within an FMCG environment is essential
  
• UK Rights to work VISA already in place is essential
